FCP X/ COMPRESSOR and 8K Imax??

This may be a silly question ...

I'm not talking about actually editing, but could FCPX or Compressor or Motion handle 8K dpx files in terms of simply making a DCP or ProRes movie? Say I have an IMAX film (45 minutes) in 8K dpx formatted files. And want to ingest it into FCPX or Compressor, or even Motion, and output a DCP version for theatres. Is this possible?

Maybe I'd need to go to After Effects?

And I think I've read that DaVinci will make DCP format movies.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated,
